Course Overview:
Thinking about getting into the nail game or want to level up your skills? Our 4-day Acrylic Extensions Training is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to refresh their techniques. It’s hands-on, fun, and packed with everything you need to know to get started confidently.

Please note: you may need to arrange models (we will discuss this on day 1) and we kindly ask that you arrive with no nail enhancements on your own nails, including gel polish or builder gel.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
Day 1: The Basics
We’ll start with all the theory you need: nail and skin anatomy, how the products work, health and safety, and how to run things smoothly in a salon setting.
Day 2: Tips Application
You’ll learn how to apply acrylic using tips: shaping, blending, and perfecting the finish.
Day 3: Forms Application
Next up, we’ll show you how to sculpt nails using forms, and you’ll get to practise building strong, beautiful sets from scratch.
Day 4: Finessing Your Skills
We’ll cover common issues and how to fix them, dive into some fun nail art, and train you in using an electric nail file (e-file).
By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with solid skills, two certificates, and the confidence to start offering acrylic extensions to clients. This course equips you with everything you need to succeed, all in a supportive, professional environment.
Course is fully accredited by ABT and your certificate will be emailed on passing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What qualification will I receive?
On successful completion of your training course, you will receive a diploma certificate issued by Kuku Nail and Beauty Training and accredited by ABT. This demonstrates your commitment to the training and also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile.
Do I need to bring a model?
Yes, we cannot provide a model for you.
Throughout the course you will be practicing on other course members and on the second day you will need to arrange a model to join you in the class at 2:30PM for your assessment. Their nails should be free from any enhancements.
If your model needs to arrive earlier than 2:30PM we have a waiting area.

How long does the course last?
This course is structured over four days and runs from 9:30AM – 4:00PM each day. We ask students to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start.
Are there any course entry requirements?
Kuku diploma courses do not require any prior learning or experience to be able to train with us; many of our students are beginners who are looking to start a career in the nail and beauty industry.
All products and tools are provided for the training day at the centre when you attend. Kit is provided on the day to complete the course.
On the training day, you only need to bring cold food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea and coffee is provided.
